The UP Phone is state-of-the-art hardware and is equipped to work with the three U.S. big mobile carriers once fully verified.

Currently, T-Mobile is supported. We are actively pursuing verification with AT&T. We anticipate it will be ready prior to shipment of your pre-order phone. We plan to also become verified with Verizon, but the process is more involved.

Another class of cell service are Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). Examples are PureTalk (AT&T), Patriot Mobile (all 3 providers) and Mint Mobile (T-Mobile). MVNOs on the T-Mobile network will also work with the UP Phone.

Manufacturing constraints necessitate minimum quantity order sizes. We have momentum, and we’ve already produced a first-batch production run of the phone, which are going out to customers the first part of October 2023.

One of our distribution partners has already committed to a sizable order. To put production in motion for Batch 2, we’ve set a goal to presell an additional 6000 units.

Once we reach 6000 presales, we will immediately start production for Batch 2 of the UP Phone.

To be safe, we’re estimating 150 calendar days after meeting the presales objective. We have good reason to believe it could be faster.
